Will it hurt?

Is it toxic?

Like mercury,

when you touch it,

it burns through your hands.

For love, it burns through your heart.

Or is it as a sleeping pill?

One pill,

and your in bed with some guy?

Or is it like a new born puppy,

one look, and your in love,

Again I ask, Can love hurt?

your writting is nothing great nor mediocre. i say youre talented but rough on the edges. now youre poem had an ok start but some how didnt make me feel the emotion later on. i couldnt feel what you meant by how love can hurt.
