I know that 150 top number is when they call a doctor at the nursing home. But when you go to the doctor the next time DO NOT LEAVE until you understand everything about your treatment. The doctor may ask a nurse to teach you everything but either way you need to know.

%26quot;Call 911 or seek emergency services immediately if you have a fast heart rate and you:

Faint or feel as though you are going to faint.

Have severe shortness of breath.

Have chest pain.

Have symptoms of a heart attack or stroke. %26quot;

well, I thing you have to check your kidneys, because high sugar level cause damage on those y that produce hypertension, do you can hear like crickets in your ear?, also you must to check every day your blood sugars levels and of course still taking your medicine for your hearth.

well from what you have told me you need to be better managed. it is not ok to give you insulin and then no education or back up plan, neither is it ok to treat your bp, but not your heart rate, did they do an ECG? I think you need to go to a Dr, i would suggest a cardiologist, but a good GP should be able to treat you. you need to understand how to manage your diabetes, what food to avoid and what is good to eat, how many serves of each. you need more to control your blood pressure, and you need something to control your heart rate, most importantly you need to make sure that there is not something going on to make these things happen. if you are under 50 then it is reasonable to have your kidneys tested, as a cause of high bp, also you need to find out why your heart rate is so high, it can be caused by so many things, from an arrhythmia to electrolyte in-balances, i think you need to be more persistent and have them tell you more, and to treat you properly.
